Age of Empires Mobile, the highly anticipated Android and iOS version of one of the most popular strategy game franchises, has reached a new milestone with the start of the pre-registration phase. In a live stream, developers shared detailed information about the game and presented a comprehensive roadmap, outlining the path to the official release.
The official launch of Age of Empires Mobile is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2024, according to the roadmap released by the developers. This information differs from previous indications found on the game’s App Store page, which initially mentioned August 19 as the release date.
Despite fan excitement, some users have expressed concerns that the game may not meet expectations, claiming it could become a failure due to the absence of the key real-time strategy (RTS) element that characterizes the franchise.
