The horror game based on the Alien movie allows users to experience the first two missions at no cost.
Alien: Isolation is a horror game released for mobile devices in late 2021 by Feral Interactive. The game is based on the 1979 movie Alien and puts the player in the shoes of Amanda Ripley, the daughter of the protagonist Ellen Ripley. Set in an abandoned space station, the game challenges players to survive the relentless attacks of an alien.
Originally a premium game requiring a one-time payment for download and play, Feral Interactive decided to change its distribution model and offer the game for free to iOS users. Starting today, iOS users can download the game from the App Store and play the first two missions without charge. To continue playing, they need to purchase the full version for $15.
For Android users, the game remains a premium title, and there is no trial period available. Feral Interactive has not indicated whether it plans to change the distribution model for Android in the future.
