ArcheAge War, a mobile MMORPG developed by XL Games and published by Kakao Games, is set to release in other Asian countries in the second quarter of 2024. The publisher announced the game’s expansion in an official statement, stating plans to launch in Taiwan, Japan, Macau, Hong Kong, and other Asian markets. As of now, no specific date has been announced.
ArcheAge War is a mobile online RPG based on the original ArcheAge MMORPG for PC. The game focuses on player-versus-player (PvP) combat, allowing players to engage in large-scale battles, castle sieges, faction wars, and other competitive activities. The game also features character crafting, customization, progression systems, and an open world for exploration.
The game was launched in South Korea in March 2023 and received a positive response from the local audience. According to Kakao Games, the game reached the top spot in the download charts on both the Google Play Store and the App Store in South Korea.
As of now, there are no disclosed plans for a global release; however, the launch outside of South Korea may indicate a potential expansion beyond Asia in 2024.
