Bandai Namco announces Gakuen The Idolmaster for mobile devices

The game is set to be launched in the Japanese spring, with pre-registration already available.

Bandai Namco has unveiled the release of Gakuen The Idolmaster, a new game for iOS and Android scheduled to debut in Japan’s spring.

Gakuen The Idolmaster is a school idol training simulation game, marking the latest addition to The Idolmaster series. Set in the idol training school Hatsuboshi Gakuen, players take on the role of a new student in the producer department. The goal is to recruit unique idol candidates from the idol department who aspire to fulfill their dreams and assist in developing their talents until they become complete idols.

As of now, there is no information on the release date, and it’s unclear whether the developers plan to launch the game globally beyond Japan. Interested individuals can already pre-register through the App Store, Google Play, and the official website.
