Civilization: Eras & Allies is being tested on Android

The publisher 2K is conducting tests in the Philippines for the upcoming mobile strategy and empire-building game.

2K has started testing the game Civilization: Eras & Allies on the Android platform, initially making it available in the Philippines. The title, formerly known as Conquests and Alliances, promises to bring the acclaimed Civilization franchise experience to mobile devices in a free-to-play model.

The game allows users to take on the role of historical leaders and shape the destiny of civilizations across various eras. With a proposal for immersion in different historical periods, Civilization: Eras & Allies challenges players to build empires and compete for rewards and bonuses in limited thematic seasons.

The gameplay of Civilization: Eras & Allies maintains the essence of the original series but adapted for a mobile version. However, the game incorporates monetization elements, where players can choose to make in-app purchases to gain competitive advantages.

Currently, the game is available for download on Google Play for users with registered accounts in the Philippines. 2K has not yet announced dates for the global release or availability in other regions.
