Dofus will be released for mobile devices with the Unity update

The turn-based strategy game Dofus, developed by the French company Ankama, will be released for mobile devices and tablets.

The news was revealed at the end of 2023 in a post showcasing the development progress of the Dofus Unity update, which aims to revamp the game for the Unity platform.

According to Ankama, Dofus Unity will have versions for Android and iOS, in addition to the PC version. The update is scheduled to be released in 2024, but it has not been specified whether the release will be simultaneous across all platforms.

It’s worth noting that there is already a version of Dofus for mobile devices, called Dofus Touch. However, this version is not identical to the original game and does not have the cross-play system (playing on multiple platforms). Ankama has also not clarified whether Dofus Unity will have this functionality or if it will be a separate game, similar to Dofus Touch.
