The third-person shooter El Paso, Elsewhere will launch on iOS on September 17, 2024. Originally released on Steam in September 2023, the game is set in a universe filled with supernatural beings such as vampires, werewolves, demons, and angels. Initially, this mobile version will be available exclusively on iOS.
Developed by Strange Scaffold, El Paso, Elsewhere challenges players to combat various creatures within a motel that constantly shifts its reality. The environment includes 46 floors, each with its own array of monsters, including figures like Dracula.
Gameplay and Supernatural Environment
Players can choose from a range of weapons, including shotguns and Molotov cocktails, to battle the enemies they encounter. The game blends intense combat with a dark, ever-changing environment, where the goal is to eliminate the supernatural threats.
The motel, central to the game, is a dynamic setting that alters as players advance through its 46 floors. Each level introduces new challenges, with different monsters and iconic villains like Dracula. This constant change requires players to adapt their strategies as they progress.
Android Release and Pricing
While the iOS version has been confirmed, there is no information yet regarding an Android release. The game will be available for free on the App Store, with the option to purchase the full version through an in-app transaction. Pricing details for the full version have not been announced.
The interface will support both English and Brazilian Portuguese, catering to a broader audience. The launch of El Paso, Elsewhere on mobile is part of Strange Scaffold’s broader expansion, including the mobile release of their other title, I Am Your Beast, later this year.
