On July 16, Plug in Digital announced the release of Spirit of the Island for mobile devices. The game, an island life simulator, can now be played on Android and iOS devices.

Spirit of the Island is an RPG similar to Stardew Valley, but focused on the tourism sector of a tropical archipelago. The game allows players to manage a farm, fish, explore new regions, and attract tourists to the archipelago.

One of the main features of Spirit of the Island is the cooperative mode for two players. In cooperative mode, all single-player resources are available, including missions. Players can transfer discoveries from one world to another by exchanging resources. Besides managing a farm, players can build shops for tourists, hunt for treasures, and uncover the island’s secrets.

The mobile version of Spirit of the Island is identical to the one available on Steam for PC, with added virtual controls and remastered graphics for mobile devices. The game is available on Google Play and the App Store for $4.99. To celebrate the mobile release, the PC version is on sale on Steam until July 22.
