Genshin and Honkai dominate the gacha market in December

The two games from miHoYo led the revenue of mobile games based on gacha in the last month of 2023, according to Sensor Tower.

According to Sensor Tower, an analytical agency that monitors the mobile games market, the two games that earned the most with gacha in December 2023 were Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, both developed by the Chinese company miHoYo.

According to Sensor Tower, Genshin Impact earned 31 million dollars in December 2023, a drop compared to November, when the game raised 40 million dollars. Honkai: Star Rail earned 26 million dollars in December, an increase compared to November, when the game earned 19 million dollars.

The two games from miHoYo stayed ahead of other famous titles of gacha, such as Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade, Puzzle and Dragons and Fate/Grand Order, which occupied the third, fourth and fifth place, respectively, in the list of Sensor Tower.
