Ironhide Games has officially released Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance today, July 25, for mobile devices and PC. The new tower defense game is available for Android, iOS, and PC. This is the latest entry in a series that started in 2011 with a web version, quickly adapted for mobile devices due to its popularity.
Kingdom Rush combines fantasy elements with tower defense mechanics. Players face mythical creatures like dragons, orcs, and goblins, using various towers and heroes to defend their territories. The series has always been well-received, with thousands of downloads on Google Play and the App Store, despite being a paid game.
Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance represents a continuation in the series, offering fans a new set of challenges and content. Players now have the chance to dive into another tower defense adventure, using a mix of towers and heroes to protect their territories against mythical enemies.
The new game offers 15 types of towers and 12 heroes. Players can explore 16 campaign stages, 3 biomes, over 50 achievements, and face more than 32 types of enemies. Combining different towers allows players to try various strategies to defeat the monster hordes. The game is described as challenging, requiring strategic skills and planning to overcome obstacles.
The developers promised initial content that provides many hours of entertainment, with possible additions in the future.
Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance included an announcement earlier this year, but a disclosure error revealed the release date ahead of schedule. This leak was confirmed with the game’s release on the announced date.
The game is available on Steam, Google Play, and the App Store for $6.99. For Google Play Pass subscribers, Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance is not yet available in the catalog, unlike other games in the series that are part of this service.
