Krafton, the South Korean game development company, has revealed the launch schedule for the mobile version of its action game, Dark and Darker. The announcement was made during the first-quarter financial report presentation in 2024.
The first closed test of the game took place in April this year, with approximately 50 thousand users participating. The next testing phase is scheduled for June, restricted to residents of South Korea. Unlike the previous stage, the tests will now be expanded to include iOS devices, in addition to the already supported Android.
In the third quarter, Krafton plans to commence open tests in South Korea. This phase will include improvements based on feedback from previous tests, new content, and the introduction of a game store. The global launch of Dark and Darker Mobile is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024.
Developed by Bluehole Studio over two years, Dark and Darker Mobile aims to recreate the experience of the original game for mobile devices. The development team has strived to maintain the essence of Dark and Darker, aiming to offer players a faithful and immersive adaptation.
