Publisher Mother Gaia Studio released the game Legend of the Skyfish 2 for Android devices on July 3. The iOS version is scheduled to be released on the App Store on July 31.
Legend of the Skyfish 2 was first released for mobile in 2020 as an exclusive title on Apple Arcade, Apple’s game subscription service. In June, the developers announced that Legend of the Skyfish 2 would no longer be exclusive to Apple Arcade and would be released on the Google Play Store for Android devices.
Legend of the Skyfish 2 is an open-world game that resembles the The Legend of Zelda franchise. In this 2.5D environment, players equip their characters with various items, complete missions, and explore the fantasy world’s story. Collecting resources to create equipment and weapons is part of the game’s mechanics.
The first game in the franchise, Legend of the Skyfish, was released in 2017 on the Steam platform. The game had low download numbers and was never released for mobile devices. The first title has simpler graphics compared to the second.
Legend of the Skyfish 2 is a paid game, available for $3.99 on both the Google Play Store and the App Store.
