Mobile game based on How to Train Your Dragon in pre-load in China

The new mobile game, How to Train Your Dragon: The Journey, based on the popular animated film series, is now available for pre-load in China. The game will officially launch on August 2, 2024, and will be accessible for Android and iOS devices. Currently, the game can be downloaded early from the Chinese App Store.

In this game, you will have the chance to explore Berk Island and find the unique dragons we know from the films. You will start by building and expanding your Viking settlement, recruiting dragons, and engaging in exciting battles. Each dragon has its own skills and traits, and it will be your job to tame and train them to become a crucial part of your clan.

How to Train Your Dragon: The Journey is a licensed game developed in partnership with Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation, ensuring that the game stays true to the beloved film series and its characters.

Global release of the game

There is no confirmed information yet about the global release of the game. It is expected that after the initial launch in China, the game may become available in other markets. The global version might include an English translation, given the international popularity of the How to Train Your Dragon series.
