Netmarble has released gameplay videos of its new MMORPG, Arthdal Chronicles, showcasing the game’s features ahead of its launch. The videos highlight the character customization tools, which include options to adjust height, width, skin color, facial features, and makeup. Scenes of battles against monsters and bosses in a shared environment for multiple players are also shown.
Arthdal Chronicles is described as a game focused on RvR (Realm vs. Realm), with an emphasis on player cooperation. The game was developed using the Unreal Engine 4 and is inspired by the South Korean drama “The Chronicles of Arthdal”. Developers emphasize the game’s active combat system, which differs from other South Korean mobile projects, and the importance of healers and tanks for progress in the game.
Arthdal Chronicles will be released on April 24, 2024, and will be available for PC and mobile devices. The game will initially launch in several Asian countries, including South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
So far, Netmarble has not disclosed information about a possible global release of Arthdal Chronicles.
