NetEase Games has opened a page on the App Store for its large-scale survival game, Once Human, indicating a projected release date. The game, which has been in development for several years, offers a survival experience in an apocalyptic setting and is currently in its third beta test, accessible on both mobile and PC platforms.
Android device users have had the option to pre-register on Google Play since late March, and now, this option is also available for iOS users. According to the App Store’s policies, the release date for Once Human is slated for August 8, 2024. However, this date has not yet been confirmed by the developers and is subject to change.
Once Human features elements reminiscent of the acclaimed game series The Last of Us, particularly concerning the theme of survival in a post-apocalyptic world.
The game immerses players in a hostile environment, marked by an alien invasion that has left the world contaminated by an extraterrestrial substance. Players take on the role of a “metahuman,” beings connected to this substance and capable of surviving in the new conditions imposed by the game’s setting.
For those interested, the game is already available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
