Persona 5: The Phantom X will be released in China in April

A Perfect World Games revealed the release date for the highly anticipated free RPG, Persona 5: The Phantom X. The title will be available starting April 12, 2024, initially exclusive to the Chinese market. The game will be released for PC and mobile devices running iOS and Android systems.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is a JRPG set in the well-known Persona universe. The story unfolds in the metropolis of Tokyo and follows the adventures of a new team of Phantom Thieves. The game promises to maintain the essence of the original title, including its style and gameplay mechanics, while introducing improvements such as enhanced graphics and an optimized interface for mobile devices.

Players will take on the role of a high school student, dividing their time between daytime school activities and nighttime raids in an alternate world. This world consists of themed palaces where players can explore and battle using their Personas.

There is currently no information about a global release of the game, but it is expected to be released at some point.
