Plug in Digital has announced the release of Machinika: Atlas for PC and mobile devices running Android and iOS. The new space puzzle game is scheduled to launch on October 7. The game will be offered for free to play the initial modes, but the full version will require purchase.
Atlas is the sequel to Machinika Museum, a puzzle game where players repair machines of extraterrestrial technology. Machinika Museum was released for both PC and mobile devices and received positive reviews.
Machinika: Atlas is a survival game. In it, players take on the role of a museum researcher who finds themselves trapped amid the wreckage of an alien spaceship in outer space. The game promises an engaging experience through logical and enigmatic puzzles.
The game’s story is entirely told through these puzzles. Players dive into a mysterious narrative, uncovering hidden secrets behind the sophisticated devices found in the game.
The mobile version of the game will be compatible with joysticks, offering an alternative to touchscreen controls.
Machinika: Atlas is now available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store and App Store. Interested players can register in advance to receive notifications about the launch and be among the first to play when the game becomes available.
