The studio MoreFun, known for other popular titles such as Arena Breakout, is developing a new open-world RPG called Roco Kingdom: World. The game, currently in the testing phase in China, has attracted attention for its graphics and visual effects. Additionally, the game features elements reminiscent of the Pokémon franchise, allowing players to control adventurers exploring a world filled with monsters.
In Roco Kingdom: World, players have the ability to tame monsters and use them in battles, similar to the mechanics in Pokémon. The game also seems to draw inspiration from Palworld, a game released in early 2024 that achieved significant success. The current testing phase is not the first for the game; it was also tested in early 2024.
Currently, Roco Kingdom: World is available for mobile devices, including Android and iOS, as well as for desktop via PC. However, there is a possibility that the studio MoreFun, a subsidiary of Tencent, may release the game on other platforms in the future, such as the Nintendo Switch and other consoles.
At this time, no official information has been released regarding the launch date of Roco Kingdom: World. As the game is still in development, the studio will likely wait for the results of the ongoing tests before predicting when the game will be ready for a wider audience. It is possible that the release will occur initially in China, followed by a global release at a later date.
