Populus Run, a running game with a fast food theme, has recently been released on the Google Play Store and App Store. Initially available only on Apple Arcade since 2021, the game is now downloadable on both Android and iOS devices.
In Populus Run, players control a crowd of people who must avoid various obstacles. The game consists of continuous levels where the goal is to keep at least one person alive in the group throughout the course. Players can move right, left, or jump to avoid the obstacles.
Players must avoid large fast food items, slide through pipes that simulate a water park, and face bosses who are rappers represented by noodles, donuts, and burgers. The game also offers a Hardcore mode to test players’ skills and allows for the collection of secret characters hidden in the levels.
Populus Run is similar to other running games, such as Subway Surfers, which was released in 2012. While Populus Run is free to download, access is limited to the first few levels. To unlock all levels and remove ads, the full version of the game is available for $3.99.
