Rust, one of the most popular survival games today, may soon have a mobile version. According to a Twitter profile named Kurakasis, known for sharing game-related information, Rust Mobile is in development and is expected to be officially revealed later this year.
The profile did not disclose its sources but stated that they are reliable, and the project is underway. It also mentioned that the publisher for Rust Mobile would be Level Infinite, a subsidiary of the Chinese giant Tencent, which owns various mobile game development studios.
Rust is an online survival game released in 2013 for PC, placing players in an open and hostile world where they must gather resources, build shelters, form alliances, and engage in combat with other players. The game gained tremendous popularity in early 2021, thanks to streams from several famous streamers.
However, there are still no official details about the existence of this mobile project or an estimated release date.
