The studio SYBO Games has announced that the game Subway Surfers, one of the most popular on mobile platforms, is about to release a major update. The update, set to be available soon, coincides with the celebration of the game’s 12th anniversary.

From May 13th to June 2nd, players will have the opportunity to experience the new season titled ‘Classic.’ This season is a tribute to the twelve years of the game’s existence, and the update is scheduled to be released globally.

To mark the occasion, SYBO Games has reintroduced a classic map that promises to bring nostalgia to long-time players. The map is part of a strategy to celebrate the game’s history and offer a renewed experience. In addition to the map, the update brings new characters and skins, including Pixel Jake, Ballerina Tricky, King’s Guard, and a Hammy Bee skin created by a fan.

The update is not only a trip to the past but also introduces novelties, such as a playable security guard character, and will be equipped with a fake mustache.
