A new version of the game Super Contra, titled Metal Soldier 2, has been released for Android devices. This version is an unofficial adaptation of the original Super Contra game, which was released for the NES console in 1988.
The game Contra Returns, which was also released for mobile devices, didn’t gain much popularity. However, Super Contras: Metal Soldier 2 is presented as a more faithful option to the original for those who wish to relive past experiences.
One of the highlighted aspects of Super Contras: Metal Soldier 2 is the support for local cooperative mode. To utilize this feature, players must download the game through the Google Play Store and connect to the same Wi-Fi network.
The developers of Super Contras: Metal Soldier 2 chose to preserve the essence of the original game. Players will take on the roles of Rambo and Bill, well-known characters from the classic title. They will face waves of enemies, collect power-ups and new weapons, and challenge bosses in various stages of the game.
If you’re interested, the game is available on the Google Play Store. So far, there is no information about a possible version for iOS.
