Ubisoft has confirmed that the release date for the mobile game The Division Resurgence will be delayed. The title, which has been in development for several years, underwent various tests in the past two years. However, the development team has stated that more time is needed before they can announce an official release date.
Initially, Ubisoft had set a tentative release date for December 5, 2023, when a pre-order page was made available on the App Store. As the date approached, it was changed to March 31, 2024. Recently, the date has been modified again, now set for December 27, 2024, as updated on the App Store.
The Division franchise, inspired by the works of writer Tom Clancy, is known for being a series of third-person shooter RPGs set in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by disease and war. The Division Resurgence marks the franchise’s first adaptation for mobile devices, maintaining the essence of the series while introducing a new narrative designed for mobile platforms.
It is important to note that the mentioned dates serve as placeholders and do not necessarily represent the actual game release. The game is currently in pre-registration on the Google Play Store and App Store.
