Umamusume: Pretty Derby, a mobile game based on the anime Pony Girls: Pretty Derby, will be released globally soon. Initially launched in 2021, the game was only available in Japan. In 2024, three years after its original release, the game will receive an English version for a global audience.
The game’s producer, Cygames, announced the global release. An official game page has been published, accompanied by an official trailer. The game will be free to play, with optional in-app purchases, and will be available for Android and iOS devices.
Pony Girls: Pretty Derby, the anime on which the game is based, features a storyline where girls are reincarnations of racehorses from another world. Their destiny is to run towards their goals, blessed with incredible speed and endurance, allowing them to compete with others of their kind.
Although Cygames has confirmed the global release of Umamusume: Pretty Derby, the publisher has not yet announced a specific release date for the game.
