Valorant Mobile will not have cross-play with other platforms

The mobile game will not allow cross-play between different systems.

According to leaked information on the internet, Valorant Mobile, which has been in development for 4 years, will not feature cross-play functionality. This means that Android and iOS users will not be able to play with players on other platforms. Currently, Valorant is only available for PC.

Valorant Mobile is an adapted version of the popular first-person shooter Valorant, developed by Riot Games. The developer’s promise is that the mobile version will maintain the same tactical combat premise and characters as the PC version but will optimize controls and the gaming experience for touchscreens.

In 2023, it became public that Riot Games was dissatisfied with the implementation of the mobile version of the game. Initially developed by Chinese programmers from Tencent, the responsibility was later transferred to Riot LA studio, causing delays in the game’s development that have been ongoing for years.

So far, Riot Games has not confirmed any estimated release date for the mobile version of Valorant.
