Pomelo Games has released the second version of its village-building simulator, Outlanders 2, exclusively for iOS devices. The game can now be accessed through an Apple Arcade subscription on the App Store.
Outlanders 2 is a game of city building and management, where players are responsible for resource management and village construction. The game’s focus is to provide a casual management experience, where players take care of the development of a small, isolated community.
This release is the continuation of Outlanders, which is also available on Apple Arcade and was launched in 2019. The original version received positive reviews from players. The main difference between the two titles is that Outlanders 2 allows for horizontal play and features updated graphics, while the first version could only be played vertically.
Outlanders 2 remains exclusive to Apple Arcade, with no plans for release on other operating systems. Like the first version from 2019, there are no confirmed plans for an Android version of the game.
