Aniplex, in partnership with developers Pokelabo and f4samurai, has revealed the launch of a new game based on the Puella Magi Madoka Magica series. Named ‘Magia Exedra,’ the game is scheduled to hit the Japanese market in 2024, available for iOS and Android platforms.

Additional details about the game have not yet been disclosed, nor have any details about a possible global release. According to observations from the official website, ‘Magia Exedra’ seems to be in an embryonic phase, with few details revealed to the public. So far, only a few conceptual arts of the game have been made available.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a Japanese anime series that transformed the ‘magical girl’ genre with its dark and complex narrative. The story follows Madoka Kaname and her friends, who are approached by a mystical creature named Kyubey and offered the chance to become magical girls with powers to fight evil witches. However, they soon discover that their new powers come with great sacrifices and unexpected consequences, plunging them into a world of challenges and moral dilemmas.
