Gwent , the free collectible card game based on the universe of The Witcher, received its last update on October 17, 2023. CD Projekt RED, the studio responsible for the game, announced in 2022 that it would gradually end support for the game, which was released in 2017.
The last update, called 11.10, brought the last batch of fixes and improvements for the game, but also introduced a new feature called Balance Tips. This feature allows players to vote once a month on which cards or abilities they want to be changed, increasing or decreasing their power or supply cost.

The Balance Tips feature is a way for CD Projekt RED to leave the balance of the game in the hands of the players, as the studio will no longer intervene in the game after this update. Players who want to participate in the voting must have at least Prestige 1, have won 25 ranked matches in the current season or have reached Rank 0. Each player can choose up to three cards or abilities to vote on, and each choice has a different weight: the first one is worth three votes, the second one is worth two votes and the third one is worth one vote.
