Heartopia initiates open beta testing in China for mobile devices

The Heartopia game’s Open Beta Test (OBT) is available without participant restrictions.

The life simulation and construction game, Heartopia, has commenced its Open Beta Test (OBT) in China, accessible to iOS and Android users. The testing phase, which began recently, allows interested players to sign up and experience the game before its official release.

To join the OBT, players must visit the Chinese TapTap platform and select the “Join the test” option. The game developer emphasizes that there is no maximum number of participants for this phase, ensuring that access to the game servers will remain open to all interested parties until the OBT ends on May 13th.

During the testing period, players will be able to make in-game purchases, although these are subject to limitations. It is important to note that after the test server shutdown, all progress and purchases made will be reset. However, the company assures that any spent amounts will be reimbursed to players’ accounts after the official game release.

Heartopia offers an immersive gaming experience where players have the opportunity to build and decorate their own homes. In addition to traditional furniture, it is possible to add items such as workbenches to create new objects, including beds. Each player receives their own plot of land to develop and is encouraged to interact with non-playable characters (NPCs) to complete tasks and learn the game’s basics.

Until this moment, the developer of Heartopia has not announced a specific date for the official game release. The Open Beta Test phase is a crucial stage for refinement and final adjustments, and the company is focused on gathering feedback from players to ensure that the final version meets public expectations.
