Katana ZERO: Mobile version being tested in the Philippines prior to global launch

A platform game is undergoing regional testing through Netflix.

Netflix has begun testing the acclaimed pixel art action game, Katana ZERO, making it exclusively available to service subscribers in the Philippines. This early release on Android and iOS devices marks an important step before the game’s global release.

By the end of 2023, the streaming platform had announced the portability of the game to mobile devices, integrating it into the service’s game catalog. Now, with testing in the Philippines, Netflix is making final adjustments before the global launch. Katana ZERO is an action RPG released on Steam in 2019 and has excellent ratings.

To access Katana ZERO during the testing phase, users need an active Netflix subscription and to be located in the Philippines. At present, there is no defined date for the end of testing and a possible global release.
