After the global release for PC, the company aims to expand to mobile platforms.

According to information from the Korean website MTN, which cites NCSoft employees, the company plans to develop Throne and Liberty Mobile after the worldwide release of the PC version.

NCSoft, known for its portfolio of online games, has already allocated a significant portion of its team to the development of Lost Ark Mobile, which is set to be released later in 2025.

Throne and Liberty has a long development history, starting in the 2010s under the name Lineage Eternal, also known as Lineage 3. Originally based on the Guild Wars engine, the game faced development challenges that led to a production hiatus. Subsequently, there were changes both in the producer and in the game engine, adopting Unreal Engine 4. The game, which distanced itself from the Lineage universe, now seeks to establish its own identity.

The proposal for a global release of Throne and Liberty is a significant step, considering that many Korean games do not reach international markets.
