Neatease Games, a renowned game developer, recently announced the discontinuation of a highly anticipated mobile title. Although the project was internally known as Teseu (Code T), the public dubbed it “Cyberpunk 2077 Mobile” due to its similarities with the popular open-world game. Unfortunately, fans will have to cope with the sad news that this game will never be released, as Neatease Games has decided to cancel its development prematurely.
The official announcement of the Cyberpunk 2077 clone for mobile devices was made by Neatease Games in 2020. The company unveiled a trailer filled with references and a futuristic style reminiscent of the acclaimed CD Projekt Red game. The news was met with excitement among mobile gamers, especially considering it was announced in the same year as the original Cyberpunk 2077, during the height of the game’s hype.
However, over the past three years, few details have been revealed about this new title. Only a leaked screenshot circulated on the internet, unveiling some details of a potential open-world experience and the promise of multiplayer features. Unfortunately, this information now remains a glimpse of a game that will never see the light of day.
