After many thought the project had been canceled, Square Enix released an enigmatic image of their upcoming mobile game, Kingdom Hearts Missing Link. The image, posted on the company’s Japanese Twitter account, appears to depict a construction site in Daybreak Town, the setting of the previous game, Kingdom Hearts Union X.

Kingdom Hearts Missing Link was announced in April 2022, alongside Kingdom Hearts 4. According to Square Enix, Missing Link will be a real-time action game, a departure from previous mobile games that used turn-based systems.
There is still no confirmed release date for Kingdom Hearts Missing Link or Kingdom Hearts 4. The image shared by Square Enix has certainly heightened players’ anticipation and curiosity regarding upcoming announcements.
