Nexon, a mobile gaming company, has announced the closure of its game Building & Fighter. Launched in October 2023, the game was exclusively available in South Korea. Despite a promising start, player interest gradually waned over time.
Building & Fighter offered a dynamic action experience where players captured buildings on a virtual map representing South Korea. The game featured five distinct factions as main adversaries, each with unique characteristics and fighting styles. Throughout its brief existence, the game expanded its map, added new characters, and hosted several seasonal events.
The company expressed gratitude to players who dedicated time to the game and contributed feedback on official forums and social media. The decision to shut down the game was made after evaluating user engagement and the long-term viability of the project.
The game’s payment services have already been disabled, and the last day of server operation is scheduled for June 12, 2024. Nexon has provided a refund process for products purchased from March 18, 2024, until the date of payment services deactivation.
