Epic Seven announces collaboration with anime Overlord

Partnership between mobile RPG and anime series set to launch in April.

Epic Seven is a mobile RPG that blends stylized visuals with strategic turn-based gameplay. Players can collect and evolve characters, known as heroes, as they embark on quests and battles in a vast fantasy world.

On the other hand, Overlord is a Japanese anime that follows the story of Ainz Ooal Gown, a powerful wizard and supreme leader of an empire in the virtual reality game Yggdrasil. With the game’s closure, he finds himself trapped in his game avatar form, navigating a brand new world with NPCs who have now gained their own personalities.

The collaboration between Epic Seven and Overlord will bring a fusion of these two universes, allowing Epic Seven players to encounter and interact with characters from the Overlord anime. While specific details have not yet been disclosed, it is expected that iconic characters such as Albedo and Ainz Oul Gown will be playable, offering new abilities and stories within the game.

The partnership is scheduled to begin on April 18 and will continue until May 9. Fans are eagerly awaiting more information, which will be made available on the official game page in the coming days.
