PUBG Mobile: Game to offer 120 FPS support in next update

Version 3.2 will bring a new frame rate setting option; release in May.

PUBG Mobile players can expect a significant update in May. Version 3.2 of the game will allow players to play at higher rates, now with the option of 120 frames per second (FPS), surpassing the current limit of 90 FPS. The change is a direct response to player feedback, who have been requesting ways to improve game smoothness and responsiveness on mobile devices.

However, there is still mystery surrounding which devices will be able to support the new 120 FPS setting. Developers have promised to release more information soon, but it is likely that initially only a selected list of high-performance smartphones will have access to this feature. It is expected that, over time and with new updates, more devices will be included.

Previous experience with the 90 FPS rate has shown that it’s not enough to have a smartphone compatible with the frame rate; developers need to release specific permission for each device model. This suggests that the implementation of 120 FPS support will be a gradual process.

At the moment, there is no exact date for when this update will be implemented, we only know it will be released in May.
