Return to Monkey Island+ will be released on Apple Arcade in June

Devolver Digital has announced that a new version of the popular adventure game, Return to Monkey Island, will be available on Apple Arcade starting June 6th. Named Return to Monkey Island+, the smartphone version promises to deliver an enhanced gaming experience for Apple Arcade subscribers.

In addition to improvements in controls, Devolver Digital has implemented a simplified inventory system, making it easier to manage items collected during the adventure. The new version also includes expanded dialogue branches and contextual interactions with non-playable characters (NPCs) and environmental elements, enriching the narrative and immersion in the game world.

Return to Monkey Island+ continues the adventure saga of Guybrush Threepwood, bringing back the original creator, Ron Gilbert.
